my name is ellie, i’m a twenty seven year old fiber artist and oncology RN living on the east coast.

though my knitting journey didn’t begin until 2021, my admiration for all things sheep and wool began at a young age. as a child i often attended wool festivals with my family, and i was mesmerized by the art of collies herding sheep.

in youtube’s earliest days, i began making stop motion videos with my dad after school, cultivating an evolving love for filmmaking. my love for youtube as a social platform continued to evolve throughout my creative pursuits. while studying urban planning, i uploaded my music onto youtube, finding a community within the small indie diy artist scene.

during the pandemic, i made the decision to return to school to become an RN. while pursuing my degree, my mom taught me to knit. our shared passion for wool turned into many shared projects and fiber art focused travels.

i returned to youtube as a platform once again in august of 2023, this time with the intention of sharing my love for wool. allwool fiber has since evolved into a youtube community of 10,000 subscribers. i’m so grateful for this special group of creatives and fiber enthusiasts.
